Our Trustees
Our committed and talented group of Trustees have been appointed for the variety of skills, experience and expertise that they bring to Endeavour Partnership Trust.
Academy Trusts have the legal status of both a company and charitable trust. Our Trustees are both company directors and charity trustees.

The Board of Trustees has four key roles:
• To ensure the clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction of Endeavour Partnership Trust
• To hold the Trust lead and CEO to account for the educational performance of schools in Endeavour Partnership Trust
• To oversee the financial performance of the Trust
• To hold the local school governing bodies to account
All our Trustees have undergone the necessary safeguarding checks; including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and a Section 128 check.

Steve WheatleyEPT Trustee
Steve Wheatley
Steve is the Chair of Trustees for Endeavour Partnership Trust, a role he has held since 2016. Prior to this, he had been a governor at Windrush Primary School since 2010. Steve is an Executive Headteacher of a neighbouring Academy Trust with many years of senior leadership experience within both the education and private sector. Steve has considerable knowledge and experience regarding school improvement, staff development and health and safety. He also has wide ranging HR experience at public sector and corporate level. He is also a qualified health and safety trainer.

Paul ChapmanEPT Trustee
Paul Chapman
Paul is the Vice Chair of Trustees for Endeavour Partnership Trust. He has been a Trustee with Endeavour since the Trust was formed in 2016. Paul is a qualified Company Secretary who has provided services to investee companies of private equity businesses and divisional head office functions within two FTSE 100 companies. Paul has wide ranging experience of dealing with limited companies, guarantee companies, trusts and pension funds. Paul is also a registered compliance officer

Jo MarchantEPT Trustee
Jo Marchant
Jo is the Trust Lead and Chief Executive Officer of Endeavour Partnership Trust. Jo has worked in education since 1990 and became CEO of THE Trust in 2016. She has worked as a National Leader of Education (NLE) and has a passion for ensuring the best outcomes for disadvantaged pupils. In this role, she has supported schools across the country. In addition to her role as Trust Lead, Jo chairs two leadership groups in Charlton and Thamesmead and sits on the executive board of the Greenwich Learning Partnership. She is also a trustee for the Southwark Diocese Academy Trust.

Anna DilnottEPT Trustee
Anna Dilnott
Anna has been a Trustee for Endeavour Partnership Trust since 2016. She is a King’s Counsellor (KC) with a particular expertise in civil fraud, multi-jurisdiction disputes and international arbitration. Who’s Who Legal ranks Anna as a ‘thought leader’ for asset recovery and states that Anna “draws widespread recommendations for her asset recovery expertise, with commentators endorsing her as “an absolutely excellent silk”.

John Camp OBEEPT Trustee
John Camp OBE
John is the CEO of the Compass Partnership of Schools, a Trust of 14 schools across Greenwich and Essex and is immediate past president of the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL). John started his teaching career in the London borough of Southwark in 1991 and held various leadership roles, including that of Headteacher and Executive Headteacher before becoming CEO of Compass. John is a committed system leader who believes passionately in collaboration as a lever for deep and lasting change. He shares his expertise across the education sector and also holds a number of other trustee roles, most notably with the Ambition Institute. John was awarded an OBE for services to education in 2023.

Josh HarsantEPT Trustee
Josh Harsant
Josh is UK Head of Voice and Influence at the children’s charity Barnardos. Before joining Barnardos, he worked for 10 years delivering and leading a range of child and youth voice and influence/participation projects, programmes, and services in the public and voluntary sectors. Josh is an NSPCC certified Designated Safeguarding Officer and brings extensive experience of safeguarding to the Trust Board. Josh has also held a range of trustee roles including sitting on the board of the Greenwich and Docklands Festival. Josh is passionate about children and young people having the best start in life and believes that a huge part of that is the education and support they receive in school.

David LeeEPT Trustee
David Lee
David has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of mechanical and electrical building services. His expertise includes operational project management, installation, estimation, cost planning, procurement of major sub-contract packages, and specialised systems, as well as approvals and sign-offs. He has experience of collaborating with leading developers such as Berkeley Group, Lendlease, and Ballymore. Professional roles include being the Chief Commercial Officer for company within the sustainable power solutions for data centres across the UK and Europe, contributing to a turnover of approximately £350m.
